I. Definition of Force

  • Force is a push or pull exerted by one object on another.

II. Effects of Force

  1. Change in speed (acceleration or deceleration):

    • Example: A player kicks a motionless ball, causing it to move.

  2. Change in shape (deformation):

    • Example: A ball hitting a wall gets deformed.

III. Classification of Forces

  1. Contact Force:

    • Appears when two objects are in physical contact.

    • Example: Pushing a door open with your hand.

  2. Non-contact Force:
