I. States of Matter

1. Solid (Rắn)

   • Fixed shape

   • Cannot flow

   • Hard to compress

2. Liquid (Lỏng)

   • Takes the shape of the container

   • Can be poured, spreads over surfaces

   • Hard to compress

3. Gas (Khí)

   • Fills the container

   • Spreads in all directions

   • Easily compressible

II. Changes of State

1. Melting and Freezing (Nóng chảy và Đông đặc)

   • Solid ⇌ Liquid

2. Evaporation and Condensation (Bay hơi và Ngưng tụ)

   • Liquid ⇌ Gas

   • Evaporation happens both on the surface and inside the liquid

3. Boiling (Sôi)

   • Rapid change from liquid to gas at boiling point
